YO FASTEST CLASS!!!
The following are some essential points you all might wanna take note for OP. Hope they're relevant and helpful to you all.
Fluency and Clarity
1. Don't speak too fast! Pace your speech. Many students who delivered a memorised script tended to adversely affect their fluency and clarity of speech as well as their awareness of audience because they merely regurgitated their material in a rapid stream without VARYING their tone and speed of delivery.
2. Be more SELECTIVE about the content of your presentation. Don't put too much material for a five minute delivery.
Awareness of Audience
3. REHEARSE and try to remember your speech before you speak in front of the audience. Even if don't memorise the entire speech, you should be able to SPEAK CONFIDENTLY by remembering main points.
4.Smile and BE PLEASANT.
5. Good to make reference to screen. (use of wireless presenter is advisable, but with insufficient practice it becomes a hindrance)
6. Use cue cards and refer to it (if you need to) when you speak before the audience. Do not blatantly read from cue cards, try to make eye contact.
Question & Answer
7. Give AT LEAST 3 POINTS WITH ELABORATION.
8. Offer different perspectives or views from different angles. You should consider alternative views to your own perspectives, and discuss why you agree or disagree with them.
9. Don't jump straight into answering the question. Ask the OP Assessor to repeat the question for clarification and to buy more time to think. Must prepare to answer questions related to your project. Must think on your feet.
Others
10. Use of PROTOTYPE will help to improve "Engagement and Effectiveness" of group presentation. If videos are used, they must be LINKED to presentation.
